この日のテーマは"health care"でした。





先生からは次の質問が出ました。

"Does the government pay for health care if you have to go to the hospital?"
（病院にかかるときhealth careの支払は政府がもってくれる？）

日本では医療費の30％が個人負担でしたっけ？



この日はイギリス人の方も来ておられまして、その人曰く、

In U.K.it is paid for with public money so they have pretty high taxes.
（英国では個人が支払わなくてもいいけれど、その分税金がすごく高いよ）

だそうです。

一方アメリカでは

45 million people cannot join the insurance and they cannnot go to the hospitals
（保険に入ることができない人が4500万人いて、その人たちは病院に行けない）

ということです。

いずれの国も大変ですね・・・。
